St. Mark’s Thrift Shop was founded just over 35 Years ago, as on ongoing outreach to those in need. It is a Voluntary Ministry that involves not only members of St. Mark’s , but many from our Islip Community. The goal is to help others and extend the budgets of those in need.

You might not know that we have a voucher program where many other Churches and Organizations send those in need to St Mark’s for free clothing. St. Mark’s also gives thousands of pounds of clothing and donation to several other Churches, Big Brothers and Big Sisters, and The Disabled American Vets.

We give away more than we sell.
