Faith Formation
Growing Faith
Our Growing Faith program for children/students K5 thru 5th grade is underway for 2024-25. Here are the basics:
- Enjoying worship with our families, then gathering to learn.
- Our ~30-min., Sunday morning ‘Growing Faith’ gatherings don’t begin until all participants have had a chance to come up for Holy Communion. Participants are invited by the ushers to come to the communion rail first (optional for parents to join them), receive the sacrament or a blessing, then wait by the transept (side) door to dismiss with leaders to All Souls’ Chapel for the morning’s gathering.
- Pick-up is promptly at 10:45 AM at the chapel doors (which open onto the office foyer).
- Meanwhile, parents are welcome to join coffee fellowship upstairs or sit in on the Growing Faith lesson, but must be on campus, inside the buildings, throughout the gathering time.
- On third Sundays each month – ‘Growing Faith’ Sundays – we’ll be inviting our young people to take some responsibility for participating in worship, such as helping at the altar as an acolyte, reading one of the lections from the Bible, or presenting the gifts of bread and wine at the altar (oblationer). Questions? Wanna participate? Contact Cheryl Kiley.
- Special events for learning and fellowship for all generations (age 0 to 100!) together.
See the calendar linked below for what’s currently on, and come join us whenever you can!
